Chakra Balancing 1.5 hours This ninety-minute workshop will discuss prana, the life force/vital energy, that permeates our body. We will then delve into the chakras in detail. The chakras are energy wheels concentrated at the mid-line of the body. Each chakra is unique and has specific characteristics that affect our body's energy. Lastly, we will discuss how to balance our chakras and ultimately our prana for our optimal well-being. Anatomy of A Yoga Pose2 hours This workshop will focus on some of the more popular yoga poses you experience in your practice. We will review what muscles and areas of the body are targeted in each pose. We will then discuss and view how our own unique anatomy comes into play, including overused areas and injured areas of our bodies. Finally, we will review how you can explore the best sensational version of the pose for your body. Intro to Pranayama2 hours This workshop will begin by discussing the objectives of breathing techniques in our yoga practice. We will also spend some time reviewing the anatomy of pranayama. Lastly, we will play with different breathing techniques, their benefits, and when and where we can incorporate them into our yoga practice and daily lives.
